Starting our excursion, we head just 14 km. from the center of Heraklion towards the foothills of mount Stroumboulas and specifically to the location Voulismeni Aloni.
“Voulismeno Aloni” literally means a threshing floor that has sunk. According to experts, several hundred years ago, under this particular spot there was a cave. Today, it is a Karstic cavity (doline) that was formed after the collapse of the roof of the cave.
Once we get to the spot, under the instructions of our experienced guide, you will climb a popular climbing Rock, which offers routes of various levels, suitable for beginners, families or experienced climbers who want to test themselves with some really challenging rocks! It is a beautiful area where you can climb all day and feel the excitement and satisfaction that climbing offers.
